Refund Policy

At Forest City Athletics, we strive to provide a fun and inclusive recreational sports experience.

 

We understand that plans may change, and we aim to offer a fair and transparent refund policy while ensuring the smooth operation of our events.

By registering for our events, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.

1. General Refund Policy

  • All payments for drop-in sessions and events are non-refundable, except as outlined below.

  • We do not offer refunds for missed sessions, no-shows, or late arrivals.

2. Participant Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event:

    • Eligible for a credit worth 100% of the original ticket cost (valid for 6 months).

    • No cash or card refunds.

  • 24 to 48 hours before the event:

    • Eligible for a 50% credit of the original ticket cost (valid for 6 months).

  • No-Shows:

    • No refund or credit will be provided if a participant does not attend a session.

3. Medical Emergency Exceptions

If a participant cannot attend due to a medical emergency, they may request a credit for a future session. The following conditions apply:

  • The request must be submitted within 24 hours after the missed event.

  • A doctor’s note or valid medical documentation must be provided.

  • If approved, a credit for a future session will be issued (valid for 6 months).

4. Event Cancellations by Forest City Athletics

In rare cases, we may need to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, such as:

  • Venue closures

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Insufficient registration

If an event is canceled by Forest City Athletics, participants will receive:

  • A 100% refund

Insufficient Registration Clause:

  • If an event is canceled due to low registration, we will notify participants at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.

5. Transfer & Ticket Policy

  • Tickets are non-transferable. Participants cannot transfer their booking to another person.

  • However, management will review transfer requests on a case-by-case basis. If you have an exceptional situation, please email contact@forestcityathletics.ca.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.

  • Credits for future sessions will be applied within 48 hours of approval.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

7. Exceptions & Discretionary Adjustments

  • Forest City Athletics reserves the right to assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis and may provide discretionary refunds or credits in special circumstances.

  • Any adjustments to this policy will be made at our sole discretion and do not establish a precedent for future refunds.
